FrontPage98 (B) & Apache 1.2.4 (Linux)?

Post by Dave Nutta » Mon, 17 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I grabbed the Frontpage 98 beta and the Frontpage extensions for
Linux and set them up according to my understanding of the docs.
The "module" version of the FP extensions was patched into Apache 1.2.4
and compiled without problem.

When I try to run FrontPage 98 from NT to the Linux server, it produces
a 404 error that seems to indicate the "shtml.exe" wants a file or a
directory called "_vti_rpc".

If you know what causes this problem, please post or email details on
fixing it.

1. FrontPage98 & Apache email configuration

I need to configure my FP extensions to send E-mail as form results. I
configured smtphost and mailsender properties in we80.cnf and it's
working fine. Now I need to specify different senders for each virtual
host. So I configured 'smtphost' and 'mailsender' in my
207.x.x.x:80.cnf files. But it does not work. It seems that FP
extensions read only the we80.cnf file.

Can anyone help me?
