Hi,
I am getting a lot of "socket error: accept failed" logs in the error log
of Apache 0.8.11. I can't tell where these connections come from, since no
IP address is given with it.
What causes this error?
thanks,
Simon

What OS are you using ?
Some need mutual exclusion around the "accept" (linux?, Solaris). Without it
you can get into a terrible state.

1. Apache question: "socket error: accept failed "
Hi,
I know this question has been asked before, but I've never seen a clear
answer.
Where does the error : "socket error: accept failed" originate from?
Is it a server error, a client error or a network error.?
TIA,
Simon
