Apache - Referer/Agent barfed

Post by Paul Gre » Wed, 13 Mar 1996 04:00:00

Following notes from others in this group re: referer logs not working
I tested Apache 1.0.1 / 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 - neone of these
versions (running on the Linux platform) seems toproduce a working
agent/referrer log (yes the modules were Configured in and Makefile showed them
as listed). My Apache 1.0.0's referer and agent logs work fine so was there
a problem during subsequent upgrades?

Paul.

Ps. Ben's Apache SSL (1.0.2) also suffers from this.

1. Referer + Agent on Apache log solved!!

Well, I have solved the problem. I just installed Apache 0.8.11 and this
has a pre-configured alternative logfile generator which includes referer
and agent for each access.
Just what I wanted!

Thanks very much for an excellent server!
Phil
