SSI under Netscape Enterprise server - possible?

SSI under Netscape Enterprise server - possible?

Post by Graham Legget » Mon, 27 Oct 1997 03:00:00

Hi all,

I have a website application that relies on SSI (server side includes)
to embed a number of cgi programs into various pages.

This works great under Apache, but I cannot seem to get it to work under
Netscape enterprise server v2.01, it just gives me "server error"
(specifically: "config: for host samantha.vwv.com trying to GET
/test.shtml, handle-processed reports: no way to service request for
/test.shtml")

Anyone have any idea on how to get a cgi program to successfully embed
itself inside a page inside Netscape enterprise server?

What am I doing wrong?

Regards,
Graham

You have to enable server-parsed HTML with exec tag on your server.
You can do that in the administration server under Content Mgmt->Parsed
HTML.
