Apache logging client 0.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.255 for all requests

Hello,
I'm having trouble with apache (1.3.19 or 1.3.22 - happens on either
version, and probably the others, I just haven't compiled them) logging
incorrect ip addresses for the clients that are accessing the server.  It
always logs either 0.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.255.  I can see the correct ip
addresses in using 'netstat' on my server (IRIX 6.5.13).  Is apache using a
bad library, or the wrong library on my system possibly?  Which libraries
does apache use to determine the client IP Addresses?  Can I compile to use
different Libraries for this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Sounds like some sort of IPv4/IPv6 problem, bugs.apache.org has a
matching open issue on PR number 6233, you might check that out and open
a new ticket mentioning that you're having
the same problem.

Thank you, Thank you, thank you, eveyone!
I'm up and logging again.  Now my "web" people can get their inaccurate
"user sessions" again.
