1. (Newbie) Apache2.0.39 on HP-UX 11.00: mutex problems
Hello
I just upgraded from Apache 1.3.26 to 2.0.39 on an HP-UX11.00.
I built httpd running .configure and relying on GNU tools (gcc3.1,
gmake, ...)
I'm experiencing unexpected server hangs - the log reports:
[Fri Jul 26 14:00:53 2002] [emerg] (28)No space left on device:
couldn't grab the accept mutex
[Fri Jul 26 14:00:53 2002] [alert] Child 1431 returned a Fatal
error...
Apache is exiting!
[Fri Jul 26 14:00:53 2002] [emerg] (36)Identifier removed: couldn't
grab the accept mutex
[Fri Jul 26 14:00:54 2002] [emerg] (22)Invalid argument: couldn't grab
the accept mutex
Notice that I have only 34% of space used on device.
I had no such problems with 1.3.26 and I'm getting complaints from the
users of my site (corporate Intranet)
Anyone can provide me some hints before I decide switching back to
1.3.26?
Thank you very much in advance
