Has anyone succesfully patched Apache 1.2b1 with SSL?
Last night I sent my first hack at porting apache_1.1.1+1.3.sslQuote:> Has anyone succesfully patched Apache 1.2b1 with SSL?
I'll mention that while not that difficult (it took me about 3 hours
for the little I did do, and I'm slow),
a) I didn't fix chunking (is that new feature of HTTP 1.1?)
b) I have not tested it at all (this is BIG PROBLEM!)
because of another problem I've had with Apache 1.* in Linux 2.0.*
regardless of what I do (I'm going to post that problem in a
seperate message as soon as I don't find the answer in this
But it did compile with a set of warnings I don't understand (and
don't care about until I see more progress -- at which point I might
easily understand them).
What is the ideal setup if you need to run Apache-SSL and a non-SSL
version of Apache on the same server? Can you run SSL and non-SSL with
the same software or do you need two installations of Apache: one for
SSL and one for non-SSL?
Thanks for any help.
