Very Computer

To all,
    I test the FTP and TELNET on the server and they're
ok,   but when I
try to connect with;

FTP from a WIN95 client I get - 'connected to
124.124.124.124'  and then
a loooong pause before anything else happens, if
anything at all.

with TELNET I click on connect and then just get a
blinking cursor...I
assume I'm connected but how do I get output to the
screen??

I'm afraid that you don't provide nearly enough detail for anyone to
help you solve this problem.  However, you shouldn't take that as an
inviation to provide more detail, since this is also the wrong forum
to ask the question.  You should probably start with finding some
local help, or buying some basic unix and networking books.
