Hi Dave !
You have 2 choices here (from my own - and limited - point of view);
you can use SCO's LPD print services (which run over TCP/IP) or
use SCO's AF&PS print services (which run over NetBEUI/NetBIOS).
The former assumes that you have a LPD compatible print server
installed on Win95 which, AFAIK, doesn't come with the MS
package. In this case, you'll have to purchase such a package
(you can get one by purchasing OnNet Server by FTP software, just
to give you a starting point) and, once configured on Win95,
you can use 'mkdev rlp' or scoadmin printer manager to configure
the SCO's client counterpart.
The latter I think is the one you're going to use (since the
Win95 printing subsystem is compatible with the one used by
SCO AF&PS). In this case, define a shared printer on Win95
and then switch to SCO's scoadmin interface (by typing
scoadmin printer manager); once you're given the conn, select
Printer -> Add Remote -> Windows and fill the form
accordingly to the info you entered on the Win95 machine. It's
important here to select the right Windows client thus you
can use the [Select] button in order to browse among the
ones offered by the server. Once you completed this form,
exit from scoadmin and try to print using the
'lp -d<your_just_defined_win95_printer_here> /etc/passwd'
command and see if this works (as it should :-).
Hope this helps !
Best,
Roberto
