bash 1.12 on ISC 2.2

Post by Sean McCollist » Sat, 27 Feb 1993 03:45:40

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has been able to successfully compile
bash 1.12 on Interactive Unix 2.2.  The out-of-the-box source, while having
configuration options for isc386, doesn't work.  I've tried tweaking a few
things (defines/include file problems), but have only been able to make things
worse. :-)

Thanks in advance for help/suggestions/etc.

1. Solaris 2.2 config for bash 1.12?

I'm attemping to build bash 1.12 on Solaris 2.2 using the prebuilt gcc 2.4.0
for Solaris.  Has anyone done this?  It seems the bash configure is assuming
SunOS 4 rather than Solaris.

Thanks for any pointers,
-Bill
