<comp.unix.shell> isn't moderated per se, but the
standards of conduct are quite high, and well-enforced...
I think that you shouldn't post the same problem to
both groups because they deal with different areas of
programming.
Comp.unix.programming is about C and compilers
and such, comp.unix.shell is about shellscripting...
There really aren't any questions that fit both groups,
so why would you WANT to crosspost to them?

I'm sorry but i was worried cause none of my postings were seen in
these two groups. now, its working. perhaps, the google groups had
some problem.
yes, x-posting shouldn't be there, unless a complicated thing comes
up.
