Why can't I post to comp.unix.shell and comp.unix.programmer? Are
those moderated groups?

Hi Raqueeb....

    <comp.unix.shell> isn't moderated per se, but the
standards of conduct are quite high, and  well-enforced...

    I think that you shouldn't post the same problem to
both groups because they deal with different areas of
programming.

    Comp.unix.programming is about C and compilers
and such,   comp.unix.shell is about shellscripting...

    There really aren't any questions that fit both groups,
so why would you WANT to crosspost to them?

Looks like you succeeded for comp.unix.shell at least.  No restrictions I
know of.  Unless it is obvious SPAM of course.

I'm sorry but i was worried cause none of my postings were seen in
these two groups. now, its working. perhaps, the google groups had
some problem.

yes, x-posting shouldn't be there, unless a complicated thing comes
up.
