As mentioned in the subject, I'm looking for a good reference book on
Bourne shell programming. I've done some csh programming, but I'd like
to learn Bourne shell programming, since it has been promoted as having
a better programming interface than csh.
Since I do know the basics of shell programming, the book wouldn't have
to have a detailed tutorial, but instead should cover all the*
details that I'll want to know after I get adept at simpler shell
scripts. What is your favorite sh reference book? What are its
strengths and weaknesses?
I apologize if this is a FAQ, but I've haven't seen a FAQ for this group
since I started reading it recently. I'll be glad to summarize any
information I get if there's enough interest in it.
Thanks!
Michael Laird
