You can play with the %{...%} construct:

    if ($term == xterm || $term == xterm-color) then

    else

    endif

Just use ANSI color sequences.

1. Using tcsh prompt string in xterm title

Dear group subscribers:

I want to use the tcsh prompt information:

set ellipsis
set prompt = "%c03 "

to set my xterm title:

The desired result is to keep my xterm title from getting too long for
the window:

instead of the full directory path with $cwd

but more information than with $cwd:t

How do I get my prompt string using the tcsh prompt controls (%c03) to
appear in my xterm title?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Sincerely,
Gerald
