Very Computer

I haven't found a satisfactory way to have the cursor appear on the line below
the first part of my prompt such as:

/dir1/dir2/dir3/dir4/dir4/...

Does anyone have a way that works reliably?  I'm including the prompt I'm using
currently (which could be part of the problem):

set cwd1 = $cwd:h
set cwd2 = $cwd1:t
set prompt="[%B%m%b]:%B ../${cwd:t} %b%B%b%U%#%u "
