bookmarks help?

Post by Joseph Fen » Fri, 16 May 1997 04:00:00

Dont know if this proper place to ask question bout LYNX bookmarks or not.
Have tried locally to get it straightened out but so far no joy.  I
defined the variable "bookmarks" as the file in my lynx option menu to
receive my bookmarks.   When I use the V(iew) and A(dd) cmd to add
in a current URL site, it apparently dont take.  As all I see when
viewing is several highlighted boxes titled "bookmark".  But curser
to any of them and hit return and nothing happens even though it always
responded with "done" each time I added a URL.  Wonder what I am doing
wrong or where those URL's I did add dissappeared to?.  Any help
would be appreciated.  My system uses  "BSD".

If you press "v" and then "a", you are making a bookmark of your
bookmark file!  Press "a" while you are looking at the page you wish
to bookmark.

1. Netscape bookmarks or IE favs to KFM bookmarks

I recently started taking advantage of the KFM browser - it's not a half
bad web browser.  I would like to sync up my bookmarks to either IE or
NS's bookmarks (favs). I did a search on Deja that indicated that KFM
had native support for IE favs - although it doesn't seem to work -
clicked IE favorite links do nothing.

Anyone know of a script to do this?
