I have a question about the pcsimulator.
I keep getting an internal error when I try to
run pcsim. I copied the C: drive from a machine
whose pcsim did work, but I cannot get the new rs/6000's
pcsim to work. The profile checks out ok. I was wondering
if the process that starts up when I start up XWindows
could be the cause of this problem:
"/usr/lpp/X11/bin/X -D /usr/lib/X11/rgb -x dps -x pcsim"
I don't know what the -x attribute stands for.
By the way, the internal error is Number 1468-001.
Perhaps there is a problem with permissions if this X call
is not the problem?
Any help is appreciated as well as advice on running the pcsim
at top performance.
