I installed my new version of AIX 4.2(IBM). With this, IBM officialy
precompiled sendmail 8.7. All seems working (alias,...) but my local PC
client (Eudora, Nestcape Mail, Inetrente Explorer Mail) are hunging when
they connect to sendmail to send a message.
After debugging, when I issue a 'telnet ip.address smtp' I have the welcome
message from sendmail 8.7 with ESTMP, NOT SMTP. I can issue the HELO
ip.address, but when I issue the RSET command there is no response from
sendmail. In fact to have the response to the RSET, I have to previuosly
issue a VERB command. I think the problem is there. How can I tell sendmail
to verbose or is-it because sendmail seems to only respond using ESMTP ?
Thanks for your help.

-Christofer
