Hi,
We have a COBOL Indexed file that gets hit heavily during our production
cycle.
I'd like to know if it's possible to create a 'RAM Disk', volume or
filesystem we could copy the file to for quicker access.
Perhaps it won't give much better performance than disk caching, but I
thought it would make an interesting test.
We run on a Sun Sparc 2000 with SunOS 5.4.
