printer queue goes down by printing

Hello,

I 've a printer problem on an SP node (AIX 4.3.2.0).
we have 4 print queues on that node (2 IBM3130, 1 NT-Print-server, 1
Sun-printserver), the ibm and nt printers work, the sun doesn't.
Every time you print the queue goes down.(lpr -P<printername>
/etc/qconfig) and can't be restarted as long as the jobfile exists in
/var/spool/lpd/qdir
On a other node with the same printerconfiguration (<- /etc/qconfig) the
Sunprinter works. There are no restrictions on the sun (<- hosts.equiv).
ping works in both directions. nameresolution is o.k..
There are no errors in the syslog.

I dont have any more ideas to fix the problem.

Do you get status back from the Sun in lpstat?
Can you do it from the command-line?
    /usr/lib/lpd/rembak -S sunServerHostName -P SunPrintQueue
