Hi,
I am looking for some products for a RS-6000 running AIX 4.1.4.

1) A software program that allows for remote usage of tape devices, eg if
a tape drive is* off of machine-a, I want to be able to access the
tape on machine-b so that relevant software running on b thinks it is accessing
a local tape drive.  I seem to recall mention of this on this newsgroup
before, but lost the reference.

2) Any CD-ROM burner with appropriate drivers that will work on the stated
system.
