replace firmware and 4BA00828 error on rs/6000 43P model 260

Hi

On my IBM RS/60000 7043 (43P) Model 260 the service processor / system
microcode was corrupted. I have to replace it. On LCD is error code E080. I
downloaded SP firmware from website. I use SMS (43260SMS.exe) to create the
System and Service Processor firmware images. Delete the System image
(rosYYDDD) and rename the SP image (spYYMMDD -->> spflash.img)
I insert the diskette, power the system on. It could be automatically read
the firmware from the floppy and update the new SP firmware. But it doesn't
work on me!! On my lcd is 4BA00828. I see that means "Flash update (crc)
checksum fail, Replace the flash image"
I tried a lot of time to download SP from website, to use different floppy
etc. What else can I do?  Any ideas? Help me....

I think you need to name it precover.img, but there are detailed
instructions on how to do this on the manual for your particular hardware on
the IBM web site.
