IBM Laptop Unix Servers and Netscape Enterprise Server

I administer approx 30 IBM Power PC RS/6000 860 machines.  They are no
longer manufactured by IBM.  The all have the max of 96MB RAM and have
a total of 2GB disk.  They run AIX 4.1.5 and Netscape Enterprise Server
2.5.  They also house a database (currently Red Brick Warehouse).

I found that in order to update Netscape ES to Y2k compliancy, I need
to upgrade to at least 3.0 and in order to do that I need to run AIX
4.2. I will be looking at changing the db software to work with our
native drivers (we are a software company) so now I'm looking at
several upgrades.

Anyone have any experience with the 860 machines that can give me some
advice about the best way to proceed?

Don't you just need to get the bos. package/LPP and apply that?

For 860 info, check out http://www.mb.imag.net/~trevor/tpmain.html

You can put 4.2 on the 860's (you are referring to the laptops?)
but the graphic adapter is not supported.  You need to save the
xserver from 4.1.5 to get graphics.
