$ /usr/lib/sendmail -v max < /etc/test
we get back the following
Lookup Failure
We are a small environment and do not use DNS or plan to.
Can anyone help with what the problem is. We are using m4 to build mc
file to create the sendmail.cf.
Anyhelp would be appreciated by sending email to me

1. Net configuration, Host name lookup failure
I still have a problem with my configuration. Perhaps someone can give
me a hint, where to look for more info.
If I type
% telnet localhost
I get a "Host name lookup failure". this happens with and without a
running named. Of course, my /etc/hosts file has correct permissions (I
had even set it to 777, just to try it out). The commands 'hostname' and
'domainname' give correct results, though. I don't know what can still
be wrong with my setup.
