Hi all,

After I cloned one RS/6000(in single user mode) and then restore the
system backup on a new RS/6000, I start CICS from "smit cicsastartssd"
to CICS, it failed to start.

There are 2 logical volumes for CICS(sfs_ixreg1, log_ixreg1), so I
tried to
backup by "dd" and then restore to the new system, but I still cannot
start CICS.

Should I re-configure 2 logical volumes in CICS smit menu?  Does
anyone know
the procedures?  I tried to search any CICS/6000 admin guide in IBM
web site,
but failed.  Please kindly send me CICS admin guide if you have.

What release are you on? The product name CICS/6000 only applies to V.1
which
is long out of service.

Manuals for the current AIX release of CICS (TXSeries 4.3) are at:
