Build OpenOffice on/for AIX

Post by Martin Stenze » Sun, 01 Sep 2002 10:03:29

Hi there,

today I downloaded the OpenOffice source (www.openoffice.org) and found out
that the term "porting" is on the exaggerated side. Most probably there are
only a few things to adjust within the configure script, going on the
assumption the GNU tools are available.

Did anyone build OpenOffice successfully?

Bye, Martin.

1. Problem building openoffice

Greetings,

I've had failures building the openoffice ports and trying to build the
Jakarta Tomcat Apache connectors.  They end in similar errors like the
one below.  Not sure where to begin.   The system is FreeBSD 5.0

Any Suggestions?

Many Thanks!
