I sure hope so. =^)Quote:> Simple question....Will version 4.3 work on a RS6000 Model 250?.
I'm trying to install 4.3.3 on a Model 250 right now and I'm running
into a few snags. If I weren't such a newbie I'd probably know how to do
this.
I keep on running into this error:
fshop_make: Internal error, bread/bwrite failed.
Filesystem Helper: Implementation-specific error, code = (142)
BOS Install: Could not create the /var file system.
I'm faced with the choice to continue the installation anyhow or to
perform system diagnostics. If I continue, a little later on I get an
error to the effect that I've run out of space on /var... if I go into
system diagnostics, I'm completely in the dark as to what to do. I get
dumped into what seems like a very stripped-down shell with very few of
my familiar *nix commands available to me.
Could someone help me along a bit here?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Btw.. if you have a license for 4.1 I'd advise you to use this instead of 4.3
(or even 4.2). It runs so much faster on a 220 - ok, with the 250 you might
be satisfied with 4.3 too.
How big is your harddisc? You should have at least 540MB for 4.3 (without docsQuote:> I keep on running into this error:

*** this would follow from your previous error. How big is this disk?Quote:> I'm faced with the choice to continue the installation anyhow or to

Hi all,
Does anyone have the hardware manuals that came with these systems?
I got a hold of three of them, but have not been able to find the manuals
anywhere on the 'net. There's plenty of references to them, though,
spec-wise. :/
Thanks,
