gcc errors on AIX 3.2

Post by rakog.. » Mon, 06 Dec 1999 04:00:00

Hello,

I am trying to compile a tcp_wrapper package with a gcc compiler, but I
get errors like:   tcpd.c:19: sys/types.h: No sich file or directory

Can someone help me or provide me a already compiled tcp_wrapper
package?
(I am using AIX V3.2)

Thanks.

1. assembler error building gcc 2.2 on AIX 3.2 - help

I am building gcc 2.2.2 running AIX 3.2. When I issue
the command:

make LANGUAGES=c

things go good for a while and then I get this:

Assembler:
/tmp/ccNCMDM2.s: line 25: 1252-142 Syntax error.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.

Make Quitting.

I thought that the assembler bug was supposed to be fixed
in AIX 3.2. Has anyone successfully installed this version
of gcc?

Thanks,
Elizabeth
