1. Replacing hdisk0 in 7009-C10 hints?

Hello all,

I've got to replace the hard drive (the only one) in our 7009-C10 - it's
been barfing every so often with errors.  I've seen some caveats about
doing this, so what I plan to do (after I've browsed through some IBM
manuals and read some past posts here) is do a mksysb to tape, replace the
disk, restore the whole thing, then I should be fine (I think), barring
any strangeness (of which there could be several possibilities).  It's
running 4.1.5, so I can't do any of the neat things like mirroring or
cloning that came about in 4.3. :-( When I get a replacement drive, I've
heard that Seagate drives can sometimes be bad in RS/6000s, but is there
anything else I need to worry about?

Thanks for any info....
