Have a look at http://term1.dccs.com.au/~dave/dtelnet.html

I've used this with smit on an AIX system and could use the function
keys too.

Cheers,
Roland.

One of the reasons we went with CRT was specifically that it supported
programmable function keys.  In fact I have two setups on the Windows95 side
of my system.  One has one set of function keys escape sequences to support
smit et al, and another to support our Oracle based application on the
system, which has a totally different setup.  What problem are you having
setting up the keys?

Well, I knew you could setup the function keys to send escape sequences... I
just couldn't make it work. Maybe I just didn't have the correct escape
sequences; maybe I left out a character.

If you've got a working example, I'd really appreciate seeing it. :-)

Thanks,

A good IBM 3151 terminal emulator that runs as a Windowz NT, 95 or 98
telnet client is Blue Emulations product BluVista, function keys included
in base product. A demo version is available to download.

You might also want to look at QPC's other products, all of which can be
downloaded from their web site at http://www.qpc.com

We use QVT/Term on all our Windows machines and it works a treat!

I have found The Java(tm) Telnet Applet to be really handy
for me.  All the function keys work in smitty and it has the
backspace key set to work with modifying the .profile. I'm
not sure how well it will work with win3.1 clients, but it
might be worth a shot.  I have found only a few minor
annoyances, but all in all, its pretty well done.

1. Network between Win 3.11/Win 95 machine and Linux machine

The problem that I have is that I want to use internet stuff, and
other junk from my linux machine, but my modem is on the WIN 3.11 machine.
Currently I am running a network when both computers are w\running
workhgroups and this works well, but due placement of phone lines, I can't
get a connection to the room where the linux machine is. It is the superior
machine as well, so obviously this would be advantagious.
        Put shortly

I want to link my linux computer to my windows 3.11 computer and
running use the internet.  And if possible the printer (HP 540).

Thanks in advance
