*Description:
The Unix Administrator is responsible for the following job functions:
-Install, upgrade and maintain IBM AIX on an RS/6000 platform
-Work with Database Administrator to support Oracle on Unix platforms
-Work with Programmers to support 3rd party software
-Daily performance monitoring and general management of hardware and
software
-Help design, implement and support multi-platform integration on LAN
and WAN
-Develop and maintain technical documentation
*Requirements:
-BS Degree
-2 years of experience in AIX Unix support
-Shell scripting experience
-Unix security experience
-Networking knowledge
-Backup and restore experience
-Database experience (especially Oracle) is a plus
* Must be a U.S. citizen or perm. resident
Base Salary is 50-60K..depending on experience.
