While reading the announcement letter of the 43P/260 I couldn't find any
supported UltraWide or Ultra2 SCSI-Adapter..

Does IBM try to bring 260 customers to SSA, or are they only living behind
the moon?

P.S.: It's very hard to get a new HP, Sun, DEC/Compaq workstation w/o
      UltraWide..

To add to my posting:

On the 260 web page they write:

              Ultra SCSI disk support

Doubles the data transfer rate over SCSI-2 to an impressive
              40MB/sec
              Improves multidisk performance

Do IBM writers know the difference between Ultra and Ultra Wide, or:

Is the adapter on the 260 Ultra or Ultra Wide (50 or 68pin)?

While I'm not the product owner, I do know that the Ultra SCSI
standard that IBM uses can support SCSI-2 FW drives. So, I have to
imagine that the adapters used are 68 pin.
