Can't find standards.h, errno.h and other system header files

Hello,

I'm trying to install Openssh on a Motorola AIX v 4.1.  Thus far
I've used nothing but precompiled binaries to get GCC and make on the
system since Motorola doesn't even supply any type of compiler.  Since
there is no precompiled binary for Openssh I have had to try and compile
it.  I am able to configure it with basically no problems but when I run
make I am faced with the problem of make being unable to find
standards.h, errno.h, and sys/access.h.  I have looked everywhere and
been unable to find them.  Is there somewhere online that I might be
able to download them or something else that I might be able to do?  If
anyone can help me I would be greatly appreciative as I am certainly
stumped.

Thanks in advance,
Franklin

Have u looked into /usr/include
and /usr/include/sys

You might want to try out the AIX Software
http://www-frec.bull.com/docs/download.htm

and download the openssh.exe and openssl.exe and use smitty to install them.
That would be the easiest way. The exe files are actually zip files.

1. gcc263 can't find standard headers

I just recently got my system running (see why below :]) and I've
run into a small problem.
I went to compile a program using a makefile, and it _will not_
find the standard header files in /usr/include.  It's spitting a series
of errors (all similar) like this:
In file included from comm.c
/usr/include/errno.h:20:/linux/errno.h  No such file or directory

I've verified the existence and contents of the headers, and that
they're in the proper location.  I've tried sticking the -I flag in the
CFLAGS in the makefile, but to no avail.

Is this a problem with my setup? i.e. something didn't quite work
right, or am I missing something obvious?

SETUP: I used the Slackware dist on CD from SYBEX publ. and first tried
to install it on a MSDOS directory.  To all wanting to do this with this
distribution, it doesnt' work!! the setup program doesn't work.  So I
finally put an old 100M HD in and used color144.  That worked :)

I'll personally bow down and worship anyone who can tell me
what's wrong with my C!!!
