Very Computer

I am running 4.1.5 and I want to add a jetdirect queue.  I have to install the
software (I don't have printers.hpjetdirect.attach installed), but I wanted to
find out if anyone had any trouble with this...

I wouldn't ask if I was running a newer version of the OS (yes -- upgrade on
the way)...

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know about 4.1.5, but for 4.2.x.x and above, I urge that all of my
clinets use JetDirect cards for printing on all of my systems - it beats
remote LPD, and other methods (including IBM's own network print adapters)
hands down (try turning off an LPD server, and see what happens to the print
spooler - the JetDirect printing is immune to this.), and works great.

Just make sure that your firewall allows port 9100 tcp to have access.
