by Thanx a lot guys. Artur, Joseph wales and Mark baker. We were able to
isolate the problem. It is a hard drive crash. But luckily it is the
internal hard drive which just contains the OS and no other file
systems. All the other file systems are on an external drive which
seems just fine. We have ordered a new hard drive and hope to reinstall
the OS and other applications.
Will call on u guys if i have more problems.
