Have not been able to reach it for several weeks.

Thanks.

1. ANNOUNCEMENT: AIX Freeware CD-Rom from Bull

Hi All,

I'd like to announce that as of today, monday the 20th of november,
the AIX Freeware and Shareware Archive provided by Bull, at the
URL http://www-frec.bull.com/download/index.htm , is
also available on a CD-Rom.

The CD-Rom contains the up-to-date contents of the AIX-4.3.2 directory,
plus some LPPs that I consider useful or appropriate from the Contrib
and AIX-4.1.5 directories. The CD-Rom is updated weekly (at least!), and
may occasionaly contain LPPs that haven't been uploaded onto our web
server.

The ordering process is handled by our partner, Experlog
(http://www.experlog.com ), but the actual credit cart information is
directly handled by Experlog's bank, the Groupe CIC.

The CD-Rom is priced at 30 euros (200FF), post and packaging included.
We
send the CD-Rom by unregistered surface mail, which in our tests gets
delivered in 2 or 3 days to europe or the US. It may take longer to get
to
anywhere else, but the price is the same.

We did try providing a CD-Rom before, but we couldn't bill to a credit
card, and the CD-Rom itself was fairly "static".

And in case you're not already subscribed, there is a mailing-list
to provide (apporximately weekly) information on new additions to the
archive.

Hope to see you soon,
Ciaran
