Old Discussions on NewsGroup

I would like to find the discussions about SLIP and the RS/6000 that
occurred on this newsgroup.  Is there a way to get the information
without reposting all the discussion on this newsgroup again?  Is there
a way to get ahold of FAQ's?

Thanks in advance!

You can try using WAIS with the database comp.unix.aix.src

1. Newsgroup for UNIX Capacity Planning Software discussions?

Is there a newsgroup (more appropriate than this) for discussions of
performance management software for distributed UNIX systems? In
particular, I am interested in getting discussions going on Capacity
Planning software that does the following (among other things):

        o system statistics capturing
        o system modeling
o performance prediction and simulation  .

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
