Hi there !!
If bought an old 7011-250 with a GXT1000-002 and a 6091-19i Monitor...
Fist of all: Who has a manual about the GXT1000-002 ? I know that it must
be somewhere out there in the depth of ibm.com, but after searching for
days, it still haven't found it....
But now to the main question:
I've read somewhere that the GXT1000 configures it self with the connected
Monitor Cable ... At first I did not get any working refresh rate/resolution
(i have a standard 13W3 <=> 3xBNC Cable), than I booted the machine up with
the cable disconected, pluged the cable in and now I have a, i think, 60Hz
setup. The right cable is the "77Hz Cable" (IBM feature number 3252), but
they want 180Euro for a new one, wich is much to expensive for me.
So: How to change the refresh rate/resolution ? Maybe with software or
some hardware tweaking (connecting Pins in the 13W3 connector) ?
