"LARP" Port 91?

"LARP" Port 91?

Post by Gurvinder Singh Ahluwal » Fri, 18 May 1990 05:47:39

Has anyone heard of a protocol called LARP?

Context in which I have encountered this is IBMs Transparent Cluster
Facility (TCF) on the 4381 running VM/AIX. IBM indicates it employs
port  # 91.

For those out there aware of this and also running cisco routers,
I would like to go a step further to find out compatibility of this
protocol on ciscos, including access/passage of LARP traffic through
cisc.o Is there something that has to be enabled to allow LARP through
cisco? What is the default?
