Hi folks,

Just a probably easy question. I am getting really annoying error
message in syslog:

tsm: /dev/tty2: TSM was unable to open port "/dev/tty2"

I do not know how to get rid of this and what is causing that. Any
advice's?

Hi,
Looks as if someone have set up TSM (Tivoli Stage Manager, A backup
program... ) to send some Event logging to a serial device (tty2)
Do you know if the device on tty2 is a modem, serial printer or a terminal ?
try "q eventrules" in the dsmadmc interface to see if any eventrukes are in
place.
Or talk to the person in charge of TSM
