Add any HD to C-20?

Add any HD to C-20?

Post by robert_burg.. » Wed, 02 Aug 2000 04:00:00

Does anyone know...
Would I be able to add *any* SCSI hard drive to an RS/6000 C-20?  Or are
the ones from IBM somehow proprietary?

Thanks.

Try just about any SCSI LVD 3.5" disk.  We use IBM OEM from Dirt Cheap
Drives in the 9.1 and 18.2GB models that are relatively inexpensive
and work great.

Hi,
Any SCSI disk should work, but LVD is a bit new for a C-20. AFAIK its got
8-bit (50 pin) SCSI as standard but it depends on what SCSI card its got -
it could have been upgraded.

Regards,
Derek
