Hello people,
OS: AIX 4.?
System: RISC 6000
Environment: dtsession (windows login)
Beef: For apparantly not reason at all, I am getting logged out
of my dtsession while I am in the middle of working. This
has happened only twice today and there have been no prior
occurances of this problem.
In each case, I lost a half-hour of good work (you get on
a roll and forget to save sometimes). There is an error
in my home directory in the ~/.dt/errorlog.old (file from
previous session) and ~/.dt/errorlog.older (file from
session before previous).
----------
begin error from errorlog.old
----------
Thu Jan 16 10:10:32 1997
Workspace Manager: Unable to read bitmap file Dtxterm.l
Thu Jan 16 12:11:25 1997
dtsession: Unable to lock display. Another application may have the pointer
or keyboard grabbed.

Workspace Manager: I/O error on display:: :0.0
Thu Jan 16 13:40:27 1997
dtsession: Connection to server lost - exiting.
----------
end error from errorlog.old

----------
begin error from errolog.older
----------

Workspace Manager: Unable to read bitmap file Dtxterm.l

Workspace Manager: Unable to read bitmap file Dtxterm.l
Thu Jan 16 08:55:55 1997
Workspace Manager: I/O error on display:: :0.0
Thu Jan 16 08:55:57 1997
dtsession: Connection to server lost - exiting.
Thu Jan 16 08:55:48 1997
----------
end error from errolog.older

I don't feel the "Unable to read bitmap file Dtxterm.l" is related, and
I don't know which directory it's trying to read that file from or for what
reason.
My main problem is, I don't know what to check on this system to begin
narrowing down the possibilities of what is causing this problem. I would
really appreciate any and all assistance toward this end.
Thanks in advance. :)
