Hello all,

Could any one outline the steps to configure a remote printer queue
to a NT server in AIX?

In the (ahem) Guide to Printers and Printing,
somehow available to all online and free of charge,

there probably says something like this -

1) #smitty mkpq

2) select remote print queue.

3) select standard processing

4) in the smit panel, enter the name of the AIX print queue
enter the name of the remote NT print queue
enter the hostname of the NT box

5) press enter and wait for the OK from smit

make sure to add the hostname/IP to the /etc/hosts file

the above assumes that NT has a working print queue and lpd is running
on the NT box.
