AIX - OPS - 9I - HACMP

Post by whocar » Sat, 26 Jan 2002 23:26:29

I want to create a Real Applications Cluster on some older RS6000's.
My question is, does OPS in 9i still require HACMP? Any known
restrictions on AIX versions supported?

My understanding is that 64 bit 9i is supported on AIX 4.3.3 but not AIX
5.1.

1. AIX 5L Oracle 8.1.7, Oracle 9i and HACMP 4.5

Hello,

Does anyone have any field experience with (any , or a combination) of these
(Oracle, HACMP 4.5)  products on AIX 5.2 (32-bit mode) ?
How do you experience stability of these products on the 5L platform ? Any
issues ? Difficulties ?

Please let me know.

Thank you in advance.
