Very Computer

I installed xlogin version 2.01 Rev. 1.3 a while back.  It works fine
except that it refuses to either update /usr/adm/lastlog or indicate
the lastlogin time in the login window.

I have a similar problem with gnu finger.  I.e. it doesn't know about the
last time a user loged in.  It reports that nobody has ever logged in.

xlogin is set to run with root permissions.

Does anybody know what might be wrong, and more importantly how I can fix it?

/var/adm/lastlog is not maintained on AIX.  If this is something you'd
like to see, you can contact your marketing rep and open a DCR/PASR/etc.
