I know the URL below is long, but
it points you to 4330-09 filesets.

To duplicate, do a fix search by APAR
for IY22024.

I am not to familiar with AIX patching scheme...
I am particularly interested in IY21567 which has a fix for it.
Now, how do I know whether ML9 contains IY21567 ? I wish there is a
README/Release Note for ML9 on the web page listing what APARs are fixed
before I want to download/order. If someone has installed ML9 and there is
a README embedded, please post.

Thanks,
Thanh

Just installed ML09 ... no references to it insides READMEs,
nor references to IY21567 . IBM site too has no references !!
Where did you get that number out from ?

ok...ive seen several postings about ml-09, and if you do search for it by the
below APAR number, it shows up... but why does it not show up in the list
of available maintenance levels?

You guys are so far ahead of the game that IBM
hasn't had time to do the tar.gz packaging for
distribution.  Understand that different departments
within IBM handle packaging for the various areas.
So tar.gz bundles done by one group while
oraderable PTFs on CD/tape are handled by
another.  Considering how big IBM is, it takes a
while for the different groups to get a grip
on these things.  I have no doubt that 09 will show
up out there.  Should still be orderable by PTF.

Somehow what I wrote was not what I meant. Sorry. I wanted to know
whether ML9 contains a fix for IY21567, which you can locate by searding
by APAR, before downloading/installing ML9.
I downloaded all the READMEs for bos.rte in ML9 though and found no references
to IY21567. Why IBM did not combine a single READE for ML9 so that users
can read and decide whether they want to download ?
