PCOMM Downloading in a script file.

PCOMM Downloading in a script file.

Post by Edward Oak » Sun, 05 Apr 1992 04:15:43

I have PCOMM 1.2.9 running on a SVR4 386 box.  I have created various script
files to call up and perform various functions.  These all seem to work rather
well.  I am now trying to create a script file which will call up and download
a particular file for me using zmodem.  This, however, is not working at all.
I can issue the sz (remote) and rz (local) but then it just gives me a
Readline : TIMEOUT.

If anyone knows how to do this or has a suggestion of a better communications
package for this purpose would you please let me know.

Thanks in Advance.

1. Download impossible with PCOMM 1.2.10

I have some problems with the file transfer with PComm. I have it compiled
on a SUN Sparc IPC. The message I get in the download window is "TIMED OUT",
preceded by a "BAD HEADER". With the DEBUG option on in x_rcv.c I get:

got header 01, 001, 1.

Any clue? Please e-mail since I don't read all the newsgroups regularly.
