"write" "to" "flon" commands

hi all

I just wonder why I can not see my friends on line even I put
their login names in my ~/.friends file.

I use "ps -u xxxx" to find my friend but I can not use "to" or
"write" send message to them. Solaris tells me that they are
not login.

Hi,

Does anyone know why

struct servent *serv;
serv=getservbyname("exec","tcp");

gives a warning err of incomparible pointer type?

I also can't get rexec to function. It compiles ok....
