Very Computer

One of our dept. has windows nt print lpd queue setup to
accept text file printing from unix. However, the printing
results in lines going like
abcdefg
       1234567
              the lines got indented likr this
When I trouble-shot from the unix by printing a
"genuine" dos file (i.e. with CR/LF at eol)to that printer,
it went out okay without indentation.
Now, what can I do if I want to filter the printing
from the unix side (i.e. add the CR at eol before it is
sent out to the printer)
