Oh, yes, you also have to set your .plan to what it is currently set for...

You should make your directory open to others ("chmod 711 $HOME" orQuote:> What permissions do I need to set on my .plan to make finger see it?

Just wanted to clarify.
1. Finger - Remote Finger Doesn't Display .Plan
When I am logged onto my Unix shell account and enter "finger
<my_username>, my .plan file is displayed. But, when I try to do the same
of the programs that do FINGERs, it always reports back "No Plan".
Why is this? Is there a way to make my .plan file display in response to
remote fingers?
