Could anyone please tell me about a "network general sniffer", i know it is some sort of tool
for picking up packet traces for analsyis but need more info. Also, how does this differ from
"tcpdump"?

Hi, Linux gurus, is there anybody knows the compressed file format of
Network General Sniffer? I want to do some traffic analysis on my
network, and I can read uncompressed capture file, but I donot know
the compression format.
